Why Bisaya and Tagalog trip people up

Cebuano and Tagalog share many words, but some look identical and mean different things. Libog means confused in Cebuano but lust in Tagalog; bukid is a mountain in Cebuano but a farm in Tagalog. When in doubt, ask — Cebuanos and Davaoeños are usually delighted when visitors try.
