I didn’t hear her say it on a radio nor saw her say it on TV. I never followed her in Twitter and didn’t like her Facebook fan page. So I have no updates about her goings-on. I was just told by my SEO buddy Kurt Damada–my colleague–that it was Kris Aquino who recommended this resort. And so I did some research.
What I only found was a Facebook post of course from her official FB fan page. And here’s what I’ve got:
This picture dated February 7 on her Facebook fan page.
And when removing the name Kris Aquino from the words in Google search box, there Kurt Damada’s post Rosal Beach Resort Saranggani shows number one page 1. How’s that?
My buddy’s traffic went high and high as a kite when Miss Aquino (or some proxy) posted pictures on her FB fan page. I don’t know if she really did open her mouth and said: Rosal beach resort is a beautiful beach in Sarangani.” Something like that. But the words were there on her FB fan page.
Funny thing Kurt’s post was published on March 2011. There you can see how powerful word-of-mouth advertising is, and how powerful Kris Aquino if he endorses a product, a service, or any travel destination. You see how many millions a business owner had to get just to make Kris say that the product is good. Just like that. And you attract customers like ants going for grains of sugar.
Anyway, so here is some information about this beach Kris mentioned that makes Internet users go crazy about:
The resort is new, apparently, because I only found 2 reviews from TripAdvisor. Or perhaps only two travelers have made reviews in Tripadvisor from among those who had gone there since the place is a little bit remote, and it is not yet commercialized. It is located in Mindanao, in Glan Saranggani Province, in SOCCSKSARGEN Region, South Cotabato-Sultan Kudarat-Sarangani-Gen. Santos City.
Here is one review who gave it 5 stars:
Beautiful resort in an amazing location. I stayed here recently with 9 of my friends who were on their first visit to Mindanao. We booked Calachuchi rooms 1-4 and Rosal rooms 4-5 for 4 days/3 nights. We also arranged for 3 meals a day and served amazing Filipino fare. Staff was accommodating and very friendly. The owner was also hospitable… Read the rest of the review here.
Mmmmm. Makes we want to dive into the blue waters. Perhaps this year. yay!
If you want to know about the room rates, well, you just go to Kurt Damada’s post here.
