This is also his response to the recent call of International media press freedom advocate ‘Reporters Without Borders’ to boycott Duterte’s press conferences.

Here’s the transcript of what he said:

Mag boycott na kayo, as a matter of fact I’m urging you to make this trip here the last in Davao city. I don’t care if nobody covering me. You know very well before I ran for president nobody knows me or knows my face. Why? You know manila guys I hate being given interviews. I will be content with a camera a cellphone taking pictures of me. Wag kayong pumunta and that is make it the first time in the history of this republic. Do not cover me. Tutal andyan si Rocky sa Malacanang press. We have our own. So I just have to tell the people if you want to see the coverage. Everybody is listening. What was the tv station? PTV 4 Sa PTV 4 na lang kayo makinig. I’m asking you guys do not ever ever come back… and if I get to leave the day when I become.. If God will make me still alive, breathing here. Threatening threatening. Sinasabi ko sa inyo indi talaga ninyo nakuha pala kayong mga gago kayo. I said I am ready to lose my presidency. Now! or my honor or my life just do not fuck with me!

However, according to reports, the National Union of Journalists of the Philippines and the National Press Club of the Philippines has recently stated that there will be no boycott for Duterte’s activities.
