duterte-crying

The Philippine leader is embroidered in another issue when veteran actress, Agot Isidro, spit fire into burning coal by stating that Duterte is a psychopath. So, is our new and raucous President Digong a real psychopath?

Actress Agot Isidro became a news topic when she trended on Twitter last Sunday for her strongly worded remarks against President Rodrigo Duterte, whom she called a “psychopath.”

Isidro took into Facebook her rants and criticism on incumbent President Duterte for his love of using expletive remarks against anyone who stands in the way if his war against drugs – be it the United States President or international foreign aid United Nations.

The trending Facebook status states, “Unang-una, walang umaaway sa iyo. As a matter of fact, ikaw ang nang-aaway. Pangalawa, ‘yung bansa kung saan ka iniluklok ng 16 million out of 100+ million people ay Third World.. Kung makapagsalita ka parang superpower ang Pilipinas eh,” Isidro wrote. “At excuse me, ayaw namin magutom. Mag-isa ka na lang. Wag kang mandamay. Hindi na nga nakakain ang nakararami, gugutumin mo pa lalo.”

This status comes after Isidro claims to be fed up of Duterte’s inability to zip his mouth. President Digong came into blows with Human Rights Watch (HRW) Deputy Asia Director Phelim Kine.

The HRW Deputy Director criticizes Duterte’s administration continuous abuse in his attempt to fulfill his war on drugs. Being such a hotheaded leader, President Duterte previously made a statement that he would rather die of hunger than accept aid and letting major superpowers to meddle in his war against illegal drugs.

Duterte has a tendency to spew venom on anyone who traverse another way with what he wants for his administration only to apologize with his tails between his legs the day after.

Duterte may not be a psychopath but he needs to seriously consider keeping his mouth shut if he wants to have a peaceful regime. I am no fan of celebrity-meddling-turned-politican but I agree with Isidro’s comment.

The President needs to know his limits. He needs to practice diplomacy because he is no longer ruling against a city.

So, Is Duterte a Psychopath? No. I don’t think so. But a psychopath can seriously meddle and insult our President. If he doesn’t know how to control his temper and be gracious in dealing with adversary, this may result to loose ties with other countries that can hinder Philippine’s economic growth.
