At Duterte’s Thanksgiving/Victory Party on Saturday at Crocodile Park, President-elect Rody Duterte said something that made the crowd laugh.

Duterte was telling an incident about a reporter who asked him about his health, which he find it very disrespecting, because when Duterte answered ‘I’m fine,” the reporter then asked: “Do you have a medical report?”

Watch the video below of that incident:

Here is the video taken from the event last night, Saturday, June 4, 2016, the final part where Duterte made this hilarious speech:

We can see that Duterte wasn’t laughing when he said those words. He was in fact angry when he told the story.

But when you are from Cebu or Davao or from any Visayan-speaking cities, you would really laugh when you hear those words, because apart from the fact that Duterte used vulgar, explicit words, they are still funny, well at least for Cebuanos and Dabawenyos.

From the comments in this video published by isoytv fan page, many believe it is just one way for Duterte to express himself, a kind of talk that you can mostly hear in private places or in drinking sessions. For some, it was way beyond the boundaries of public speaking.

In America, comedians say bad words in front of a large audience such as George Carlin (deceased) and Lewis Black. Carlin and Black are both praised by the National Press Club of America. George Carlin was also awarded a Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, a highest award that an American comedian can receive.
