In a courtesy call made by Senator Pacquiao to President Duterte after wining back the WBO welterweight championship belt over a week ago to Jessie Vargas, the two powerful people from Mindanao celebrated together as Duterte raised Pacquiao’s arm and said, “Pang presidente na to ha?”

Senator Pacquiao also gave President Duterte a black-and-gold jersey printed ‘Fight On’ and with Pacquiao’s signature.

Senator Manny Pacquiao a boxing icon in the Philippines and probably one of the best boxers in the world, became Senator after winning the elections last May 2016.

Senator Pacquiao was born in Kibawe, Bukidnon, and grew up in General Santos City. President Rodrigo Duterte was born in Maasin, Leyte, but lived and grew up in Davao City.
