Monday, President Rodrigo Duterte said that he accused the “yellow” (Liberal Party) troops of attempting to create an evidence that would spark an impeachment case against him, in connection with the alleged ‘extra judicial killings’ due to his administration’s war against illegal drugs.
Duterte specified that United Nations Secretary-general Ban Ki-Moon and US President Obama’s present comments may have been a piece of the game played against him, he said in a discourse before the new government delegates.
He expressed, “Sumakay itong si [United Stated President Barack] Obama. Sumakay itong si [United Nations Secretary-General] Ban-Ki Monn. Dito sumakay. Alam mo kung kaninong laro ito? O, ayaw ko nang sabihin. Yellow iyan.”
He additionally added that he is set up to lose his honor, his life and his presidency if he’ll be indicted.
Yellow is the color Benigno Aquino III’s administration and Liberal party symbol of freedom. That’s why they are being popularly known for the ‘yellows,’ supporters are called ‘yellowtards.’
However, Aquino denied Duterte’s allegations. As the LP leader, Aquino have as of now precluded the allegation from securing the President. The successor of the constitution, Vice President Leni Robredo is a valiant LP.
